Another triple-shooter this year - myself, Andrew Hawkes, and my wife once again - to capture what we hoped would be another good event. The weather had been unbearably hot in the run up to the day, but thankfully it eased quite a bit - low 20s on the day - which made it a pretty decent day for the run.
Around 700 people turned up on the day and the weather decided to pretty much try a bit of everything - a couple of short showers, a fair bit of bright sun, and quite a few moments of cloud, but none of it seemed to affect the runners or the crowds.
Fastest man this year was Jack Kelly of Lonely Goat RC - second place in the last couple of years - and Jemima Elgood of Nidd Valley Road Runners was the first woman over the line.
